We decided to take a surprise trip to Utah this month, when we found out Michael's sister Claire was getting married. We couldn't miss it! So we hit the road with our 2 week old baby. We took our time on the way, stopping when Orion needed to. But he really did great. And all his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends in Utah got to meet him! A special treat was seeing Orion with his other "new" cousins-- (all under a year old). Kimberly, Luke, Ashton, and Gabriel.

We got to stay with Michael's brothers for a couple days. This is Uncle Dave with Orion and Will & Jaime's baby Ashton. That makes 4 boys born in the family since January!

Michael's first Father's Day.
We went to church together for the first time that day too, with Michael's sister Jane and her family. We went to their house for a barbeque afterward. It's fun to be a little family, and then to be part of a wonderful extended family, too.
Orion gives Grandma Jolynn a big, big hug goodbye. We spent 10 days in Utah, which was practically half of Orion's life! He grew and changed a lot in our time there. Thanks to all of Michael's family for a wonderful time!
